Aaron Rumley, CA, CPA (US), CFE

Aaron received a B.A. and a Master's degree in Accounting from the top ranked accounting school in the western United States. In addition to Aaron's designation as a Chartered Accountant, he is also licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Aaron began his career with KPMG, LLP where he provided financial accounting and taxation services to international and local companies. After leaving KPMG, he worked in various management positions in several publicly traded U.S. corporations.

Aaron returned to Canada in 2003, at which time he founded Rumley & Associates with Robert Rumley. Aaron regularly advises his clients on a myriad of issues, including corporate and personal tax planning, corporate governance, cash flow management, US Taxes, business valuations, financial reporting, and more.

Currently, Aaron has become a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and is working toward his certification as a CBV.

Aside from managing the office, Aaron is actively involved in the community, and has been serving for several years as Treasurer for the Huronia Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

David Holmes CA, CBV

David is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator with over ten years of financial and accounting experience working with organizations that have ranged from large publicly listed NYSE and TSX companies to smaller owner managed entities. David earned his Chartered Accountant designation while working for Deloitte & Touche LLP and his Chartered Business Valuator designation while working for a boutique business valuation firm in downtown Toronto.

David is the current President of the Georgian Bay District Chartered Accountants Association and is also the course leader for the Advanced Business & Securities Valuation course offered by York University and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.

Robert Rumley

Robert has held several controllership positions in the construction and manufacturing sector. For 20 years, prior to forming Rumley & Associates, he successfully operated as a sole practitioner, offering accounting and bookkeeping services in Barrie and the GTA. Bob continues to specialize in small business controllership and management and has been instrumental in the development and growth of many of our clients businesses.

Robert Pozzobon, B.Sc., CGA

Robert graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Robert is currently enrolled in the CICA In-Depth tax program.

Robert’s areas of specialty include audit engagements, review and compilations, and corporate tax return preparation. Robert has strong experience in the area of audit services having worked for KPMG in BC where he worked on several large audits including, regional health authorities, local school boards, a major BC University and local college and has worked on several First Nation audits as well as audits of their business ventures. Prior to joining Rumley & Associates in 2009, Robert worked in BC where he obtained experience both in public accounting and in the private sector as a controller.

Technicians and Office Administrator

The other members of our team are comprised of skilled technicians and bookkeepers who are well-versed in all areas of public accounting. Our office administrator provides frontline support to both our clients and staff.
